Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Santa Rosa, California. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a 34-bed emergency department that handles patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses. Candidates are expected to deliver holistic, individualized patient care, coordinate assessment and transitions, and demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures. Candidates are required to bring their California RN license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

  • Location: Santa Rosa, California
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on June 29, 2026
  • Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, PALS certifications, at least 2 years of emergency department experience, EPIC electronic health record experience preferred, and current vaccinations for COVID-19 and Influenza.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience and prior charge nurse experience are preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have valid state licensure, all certifications in hand at the time of submittal, and must disclose any background hits or DUIs prior to submission. A 7-year work history verification is required.
  • Certifications: All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association and in possession at the time of submittal.
  • Background Policy: Applicants must disclose any background hits or DUIs prior to submission. No on-call requirement; every other weekend rotation.
  • Submittal Requirements: Valid state license, current certifications, and available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
