Job Summary:

An Emergency Room (ER) Charge Nurse position is available in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume ER environment, primarily during night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois nursing license on the first day.

• Additional Information: The ER handles approximately 160-180 patients daily, including many stroke cases and pediatric patients. The department has 44 rooms with beds organized in pods. Patients are often transferred from multiple nursing homes, and staffing is supported by geography for optimal coverage. Orientation includes 12 hours of classroom and 6 hours of non-billable training scheduled on Tuesday, June 16.
