Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse in Petoskey, Michigan. The organization is seeking qualified candidates to join the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), which manages a diverse range of cardiac and post-operative patients. The role involves utilizing clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to health conditions, with a focus on cardiac procedures and critical care. Job Details:
- Location: Petoskey, Michigan
- Specialty: Step Down Unit (Cardiovascular Unit)
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- One or more years of Step Down experience REQUIRED
- Proficiency in Cardiac (Echocardiography) REQUIRED
- Travel experience REQUIRED
- EKG comfortability REQUIRED
- Michigan nursing license verification REQUIRED
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) REQUIRED
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties
- Submission of profile standards for health system-wide requirements
- Physical copies of certifications if listed above
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
Candidates should be willing to float to similar units as needed and be comfortable with EKG interpretation. Applicants must provide relevant certification documentation if not already uploaded.
