Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse position in Torrance, California. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their valid California state license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Torrance, California
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, start date June 29, 2026, with a shift time of Days and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, BCLS certification, and at least 1 year of operating room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a variety of surgical procedures including gynecologic, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries; familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic; experience with intraoperative procedures like hysterectomy, appendectomy, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Additional Information: Must disclose license and background checks upfront; no open license hits will be approved. Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Candidates are expected to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
• Submission Requirements: Prior employment at a Providence facility, LA fire card within the last 30 days, and two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
