Description

Job Summary:
An Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) traveler position is available in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role involves pediatric surgical cases within the operating room specialty focused on pediatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
  • Specialty: Operating Room Pediatrics Only (OR PEDS)
  • Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
  • Dates: July 7, 2026 October 10, 2026
  • Schedule: 10-hour days, 6:45AM 5:15PM
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
  • Float: Float rotation is not required
  • Travel Required: No
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (ADN required, BSN highly preferred), minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience circulating pediatric specialties such as General, Trauma, ENT, Orthopedic, Neuro, GI, Eyes, Dental, Urology. Epic experience is required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Additional certifications preferred include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
  • On-Call and Weekend Requirements: Up to 4 call shifts per calendar month, some weekends and weeknights; on-call is only required as needed.
  • Holidays: May be required if needed.
  • Additional Information: Previous travel experience highly preferred and scrub experience is highly preferred. No approval for request time off during the first two weeks of assignment. The client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within a 35-mile radius of the original facility, based on clinical competence. No RTO is approved during the initial two weeks.
  • Vaccinations: Seasonal influenza vaccination is required unless medical or religious exemptions are approved.
