Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) registered nurse (RN) position is based in Wray, Colorado. The role involves providing specialized nursing care during surgical procedures, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Licenses or certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). No minimum years of experience are specified.
• Equipment experience: robotic surgeries using a Da Vinci robot and a Mako robot
• Cases involve orthopedics (including totals, no spine), ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel procedures, hernia repair), cesarean sections (C-sections), ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures such as tonsillectomies, colonoscopy, and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGDs).
• Schedule: The typical shifts are generally from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one day per week on call from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m., and approximately one weekend per month with 24-hour call.
