Job Summary:
A Sterile Processing Technician position is available in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working evening and night shifts with a rotating schedule and performed at a healthcare facility in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is suited for professionals with minimal experience or entry-level candidates seeking to advance their careers in sterile processing.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
- Shift Schedule: Evening and night rotate every other week, with 5 shifts of 8 hours each, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0 hours
- Start Date: 06/22/2026
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification (HSPA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, no specific experience required, Pennsylvania license not required.
- Additional Information: Scrubs will be provided for the shifts. The candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and preparing surgical instruments, including endoscopes such as EGD, ERCP, and Broncho scopes.
