Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a level I trauma center, with rotating shifts of 12 hours (day/evening/night) every two weeks, including every other weekend. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts Nursing License and bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of three years of related work experience and specific certifications.

Job Details:

  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Valid Massachusetts Nursing License or Temporary License
    • CPR - American Heart Association (AHA) certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • National Certification Corporation (NCC) certification preferred
    • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) strongly preferred
    • Level I trauma experience highly preferred
    • Experience: 3 years related work experience required
    • Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required; EPIC experience preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
    • TNCC certification preferred
  • Additional Information:
    • Transitioning to Epic EMR in the summer
    • Parking can cost up to $43/day in some cases
    • Must have travel experience and no recent employment with the facility within the last six months
    • Candidates must be separated from the facility for six months to be considered
    • The organization requires candidates to provide dates and times available for interview upon submission
    • NO local travelers (within 50 miles of the facility) will be accepted
    • Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)
    • Must have Massachusetts License at the time of submission and/or a Temporary License
    • No RTO (Requested Time Off) will be approved
    • Candidates should provide their availability for interviews at submission
