Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a level I trauma center serving a busy high-volume patient population. The ER Nurse will be responsible for delivering urgent and critical care, while adhering to hospital protocols and maintaining patient safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts, 3 years of related work experience, Level I trauma experience, CPR (AHA), ACLS, PALS certifications, basic computer skills and familiarity with web-based applications, preferred EMR experience with provider order entry (specific to the provider). Transitioning to Epic EMR system expected in summer.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred. TNCC certification strongly preferred. Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification highly preferred. Level I trauma experience highly preferred.
- Additional Information: No local travelers will be accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility). Orientation occurs weekly every Monday, barring holidays. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant experience and be separated from the facility for at least six months if previously employed there. The ED is a state-of-the-art facility serving nearly 55,000 patients annually with a focus on rapid, sophisticated emergency and trauma care.
