Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-acuity pediatric critical care within a fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

  • Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; two or more years of pediatric critical care experience; experience managing pediatric critical care patients in high acuity settings; proficiency with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Clinical skills include management of respiratory illnesses, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA); pressure line management (CVPs, arterial lines, UAC/UVC); ventilated patient care (HFOV, VDR, Servo); administration of drips such as epinephrine, norepinephrine, milrinone, dopamine, precedex; neuro assessments, complex trauma care (EVDs, Codmans); management of postoperative pediatric patients with congenital anomalies, craniofacial issues, tracheostomies; familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced critical care procedures and management of complex pediatric cases.
  • Additional Information: Assignment duration is 13 weeks. Floating policy states float as needed. Dress code specifies blue scrubs; policies regarding neatness, absence of artificial nails, and covering tattoos apply.
