Job Summary:
The Progressing Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Keene, New Hampshire. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a mixed-acuity facility with a focus on medical, surgical, and step-down patient populations. The successful candidate must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Keene, New Hampshire
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications (Basic Life Support (BLS)), Education (Registered Nurse (RN) license NH RN License or Compact License with proof of state residency), Experience (at least 1.5 years of recent equivalent telemetry experience), Location (New Hampshire), and Years of Experience (at least 1.5 years)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, ability to manage a patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Must have experience with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips. Shift includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. The facility has 39 beds, primarily serving an elderly patient population, but capable of caring for patients as young as 18.
