Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Nights (Athens, TX). The position provides critical care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced intensive care setting, supporting ventilated patients and complex clinical needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Nights; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); state or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of ICU experience; travel experience
• Patient Care & Clinical Skills: Care of ventilated patients; ventilator management; BiPAP/CPAP management; High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management; central line care/management; PICC line management; arterial line management; pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring; suctioning (ETT, NT); titration of cardiac drips and vasoactive drips; continuous IV sedation; arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation; dysrhythmia interpretation and management; care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure; CVA/acute stroke management; blood product administration; care related to chronic/acute renal failure; infection prevention and isolation precautions/personal protective equipment (PPE); IV insulin protocols; phlebotomy; starting and maintaining IVs; pre/post cardiac cath/intervention support; procedural sedation administration/monitoring; assisting with chest tube insertion/removal; GI surgery support
