Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse (MS TELE) is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This position involves working in a healthcare facility where candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role encompasses providing patient care within the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with responsibilities that include floating to other units or hospitals as needed.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, with a schedule of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Alabama or a Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted); associated degree in nursing; certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross; 2 years of experience overall in the specialty, or 18 months working under the highest level of professional license with at least 1 year of recent experience in the field; proficient in Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units or hospitals.
• Additional Information: The position is patient-facing, with shifts that may start early if compliant, and every other weekend work is required. The primary timesheet approver is Lacey Dice. Parking is available at the facility.
