Job Summary:
The operating room open heart nurse position is located in Santa Monica, California. This role involves providing specialized cardiac surgical care in a busy acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Monica, California
• Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• Required Qualifications: CA license must be in hand; 2 years of experience required; Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); minimum 1 year of travel or community hospital experience; trauma level II experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred; current LA fire card within the last 30 days; references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years (can include Charge RNs/Lead); COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown; must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD).
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work 2 primary weekday calls (2230-0600), 2 secondary weekday calls (2230-0600), 2 primary weekend calls (0630-1900 or 1830-0600), and 2 secondary weekend calls (0630-1900 or 1830-0600).
