Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Edmonds, Washington this position involves providing specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with respiratory, cardiac, renal, and post-procedural needs. The role requires the ability to manage complex patient conditions, perform specialized procedures, and utilize advanced equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid IMU Level Registered Nurse (RN) license; 2 years of relevant clinical experience; certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale); at least 0 years of experience; and ability to manage specialized procedures listed in the job description.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with EMR systems, particularly Community Hospital; experience with adult and geriatric patient populations in a Stepdown or Progressive Care setting; familiarity with relevant clinical equipment and procedures.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is an IMU (Intermediate Care Unit) level RN shift role, requiring competencies in managing BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, feeding tubes, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drips, and wound care. Prior experience in Community Hospital or similar setting is preferred.
