Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Bronx, New York
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse provides specialized care for critically ill pediatric and surgical patients within an acute setting. This role requires Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience and the ability to support unit-specific orientation requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; New York (NYS) licensure; at least 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric intensive care unit settings; must be COVID vaccinated.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional Information: Experience with critically ill pediatric patients and/or surgical pediatric patients in a cardiovascular intensive unitpediatric intensive care unit environment; charting performed in Epic.
