Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Nursing (New Mexico) at the Rio Rancho location. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position entails working within a team to provide safe, effective, patient-centered, and efficient care, including patient assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License; BLS certification required; at least two (2) years of current experience in a large operating room setting; ability to scrub; successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience preferred but not required; orthopedic, EENT (Otorhinolaryngology), and/or vascular surgical experience a plus; PALS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Additional Information: Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required. Candidates must be adaptable to a fast-paced operating room environment, demonstrate teamwork, and be flexible.
