Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position is available in Aiken, South Carolina. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their license to practice as a Registered Nurse on the first day.

Job Details

Location: Aiken, South Carolina
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience; Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN degree highly desired; Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Pediatric Life Support (CPI), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring; Experience with electronic fetal monitoring using Fetalink documentation and Cerner EMR; Candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
Additional Information: The patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant women at 17 weeks gestation, and those undergoing labor, scheduled procedures such as cesarean sections and external cephalic versions, and Triage issues. Unit activities encompass admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean). Equipment used includes Fetal Monitors.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
