Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Berlin, Vermont. This position involves providing bedside care including NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, and telemetry strip interpretation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are required. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start; Telemetry certification is preferred.
• Education and Experience: A minimum of five years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience or three years of Telemetry experience is required.
• Experience Requirements: Prior travel experience is required. Candidates must have completed two travel assignments in facilities with 300+ beds or have previous experience at any acute care facility within the organization.
• EMR Experience: EPIC experience from within the past two years is required and nonnegotiable.
• Schedule and Hours: Shift is nights, with 12 hours per shift, working from Monday to Sunday. Minimum hours per week are 36. The schedule will be adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care with a minimum of every other weekend.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete work history information, including bed count, electronic medical record (EMR), and facility type, is required for submission. Travelers must work two out of four designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
