Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position is available on a Medical Surgical (MS) floor in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role involves providing routine and complex nursing care in a Basic Medical Surgical unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is a full-time, night shift position with an expected start date of 07/27/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Alexandria, LA
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA); RN license in the state of employment or compact; Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Experience: 0 years minimum (experience preference: 1 year)
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Temp to perm is a possibility; every other weekend required; no on-call duties; nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1; dress code is ceiling blue scrubs
