Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The organization is seeking qualified candidates to provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana
Schedule: Evening shifts, 11:00 AM 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); RN License in state of employment or compact; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
Additional Information: On-call 1-2 times per week and every 3rd weekend (Friday to Sunday). The position involves working only in the Operating Room and may require floating between two campuses. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1.
