Job Details:
- Location: State College, Pennsylvania
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited registered nurse program, current Pennsylvania RN licensure, and American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with biennial renewal.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Critical Care experience preferred.
- Certifications: Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS, and PALS with renewals every two years.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing initial patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress towards discharge readiness based on PACU guidelines. Collaboration, effective communication, and maintaining emergency supplies are essential responsibilities.
