Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (Oncology Clinic) in Hyannis, Massachusetts. This position involves delivering specialized patient care within an oncology clinic setting, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and providing education and support to oncology patients and their families. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Successful passage of pharmacology exam. Demonstrated skills in education and counseling of oncology patients in both curative and palliative treatment modalities. Capable of working with terminally ill patients and their families.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN Degree.
• Additional Information: Delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administers and monitors patient responses to all medications. Guides patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. Maintains accurate and current patient records, participates in staff meetings, and adheres to safety, blood, and body fluid policies. Shows a willingness to participate on Nursing Committees and represents the hospital within the community.
