Job Summary:
A Certified Sterile Processing Technician position is available in a healthcare facility located in Kennewick, Washington. This role involves providing sterile processing services in the operating room environment, supporting various surgical specialties. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Kennewick, Washington
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure required to work as a Certified Sterile Processor in Washington. No prior years of experience specified, but typically 3-5 years of experience in General Surgery, Vascular, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gynecology, Urology, or Neuro-Spine is preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit has no current unit supervisor and primarily serves adult patients without certain pediatric cases. Call requirements include one weeknight and one weekend per month; some call is required. Candidate must be located at least 60 miles or greater from the facility. The role involves working in a Stryker-equipped operating room with electronic health records managed via Paragon. Dress code is provided mint green scrubs.
