Job Summary:
Neurosurgery Operating Room (OR) Nurse Manager position located in Manhasset, New York. This role involves overseeing the nursing practice, patient care delivery, and operational management within the neurosurgery department of a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Manhasset, NY
• Schedule: Days, with shift times of 06:30:00 AM - 04:30:00 PM (4 ten-hour shifts on weekdays) or 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 37.5 hours guaranteed per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of 6-8 years of nursing experience, at least 5 years of operating room experience, at least 3 years of neurosurgery experience, and 2-5 years of solid leadership or management experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Nursing, previous experience in a quaternary care facility, and CNOR certification.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include strategic planning, team management, maintaining high-quality patient care, role modeling professional standards, recruitment and retention efforts, and operational leadership within the neurosurgery department.
