Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician located in Billings, Montana. This position involves assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and storing procedure trays, surgical trays, and medical equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role supports the organizations mission, vision, and values by ensuring all sterilization and processing tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience and understanding in the use of computers, as well as the ability to learn software relevant to Sterile Processing. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in hospital or clinic operating room.
• Additional Information: The role requires operating and monitoring sterilization equipment, following universal precautions, and providing on-the-job training to new associates. Responsibilities include maintaining records for instruments, transporting sterilized items, and effective communication of inventory status with relevant departments. The position may require overtime, floating to other departments, and being placed on-call based on business needs.
