Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse position available in Edmonds, Washington. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a community hospital surgical setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4X10 Days shifts, start time around 7am, 9am, 11am, or 3pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state nursing license; a minimum of 2 years of perioperative experience, including charge nurse experience; proficiency in operating room skills such as abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, fracture reduction, colon resection, hernia repair, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic procedures, thyroidectomy, total joint replacement, tracheostomy, and Whipple; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, preferred); experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC (mandatory).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedic, spine, vascular, ENT, general, gynecological, adolescent, adult, or geriatric populations; familiarity with community hospital surgical cases; ability to scrub proficiently; WA license is mandatory.
  • Additional Information: Previous perioperative charge experience is required. All candidates must provide two references covering at least one year (6 months for CNAs) within the past three years during the compliance process and prior to start. No robotics or CVOR experience required.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
