Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in Easton, Maryland. The RN will provide care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, managing patients across all age ranges from infants to geriatrics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation. This role involves rotating night and evening shifts, with a schedule that offers flexibility within the specified hours.

Job Details:

• Location: Easton, Maryland
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift Schedule: Rotating night/evening shifts (from 19:00 to 07:30 or 15:00 to 03:30) with a minimum of 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland or compact state, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course). A minimum of 2 years of ER experience, including charge nurse experience. Community hospital experience is required. Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system is necessary.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex diagnoses, ventilated patients, central line care, chest tube management, and procedural sedation.
• Certifications: CPR, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NRP preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating within the emergency department and other sister facilities as needed. All scheduled holidays and every other weekend are required, with flexibility as per departmental needs. Flu vaccines are mandatory with no exemptions.
• Compliance and Submission: Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract. The deadline for compliance documentation is five days prior to the start date. Immediate acceptance is required without an interview, and schedule requests cannot be guaranteed.
