Description

Job Summary:
An Operating Room registered nurse (RN) position is available in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves providing direct patient care within a busy surgical unit. Candidates are required to bring their current RN license on the first day. The position begins on July 5, 2026, and offers a schedule of days, 4 days per week, with 12-hour shifts.

Job Details:

  • Location: Springfield, MO 65804
  • Shift: Days, 4x10 hours per week, starting on 07/05/2026, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current RN License (meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri); BLS certification from AHA; at least 2 years of experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma settings (teaching hospital experience will be considered); scrub and operating room circulator experience; demonstrated skill in human relations and communications; clinical expertise in the area of responsibility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years of experience.
  • Additional Information: Night shift orientation on day shift; must be available the entire week; utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care; maintains professional accountability; evaluates care provided by other caregivers; coordinates patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality; performs within the scope of nursing practice and Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrated human relations and communication skills; clinical expertise in the role.
