Description

Job Summary:
An ICU Float Nurse position is available in Centennial, Colorado. The role involves providing patient care within various intensive care units across designated facilities. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment. The position requires flexibility to float within the assigned zone and work night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Location: Centennial, Colorado
  • Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Float
  • Shift Hours: 12-hour nights
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
  • Start Date: 07/06/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications; a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and prior charge nurse experience; or for first-time travelers, at least 3+ years of ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency; experience with titrating critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and others.
  • Schedule: Night shifts; 6-9 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule; schedule made out 4 to 6 weeks in advance; flexibility to assist in filling gaps in permanent scheduling; may be asked to work during holiday rotations.
  • Additional Information: Travelers are expected to float throughout the zone they are hired into, within a 60-mile radius from the designated zones. Housing is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure feasibility of floating requirements.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required throughout the zone.
