Description

Job Summary:
A Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Portland, Maine, within the home health care setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients, with a focus on home health services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Portland, Maine
  • Shift: Day shift, 0800-1700, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of experience in home health care, Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) and OASIS experience, and current licensure.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV therapy, tube feeds, VAC dressings, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, urinary catheters, and laboratory blood draws.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, starting 07/13/2026.
  • Additional Information: No overnight call required. Call back may be needed 2-4 times per month between 1700-2000 hours; if no visit is scheduled by 1700, call back is not required.
  • Patient Ratios: Managing 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day; may serve as a re-visitor if agency needs change.
  • Equipment and EMR: Clinician will be provided a laptop, iPhone with case and chargers, mouse, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, INR machine, and agency bag, all of which must be returned upon departure.
