Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Critical Care Stepdown is needed at a facility in Florence, Alabama. The position involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients with various complex conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Florence, AL
• Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification, ADN or BSN degree, 1 year of experience, Alabama State license (or applicable state license)
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical care stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, experience with TR bands, handling post vascular, post coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), cerebrovascular accident (CVA), respiratory failure, heart failure, chest pain, and post-cath lab treatment
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 31 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-1:5
  • Equipment includes Baxter intravenous (IV) pumps and occasional epidural pumps
  • EMR system: Meditech
  • Number of openings: 2
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • No call requirements
  • Float: possibly to medical-surgical units but not likely
  • Dress code: Scrubs in royal blue
  • No unacceptable attire specified
