Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry at a healthcare facility in South Charleston, West Virginia. This position involves providing patient care in a pulmonary and observation unit with adult and geriatric populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, minimum of 2 years of related experience, willingness to submit license and wait for approval, and prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Rotation with core staff is required; holiday schedules are rotated to avoid working the same holidays as the previous year; scheduling is managed by the director or floor manager; the position may involve cross-training.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to assigned Med-Surg units or the Emergency Department to care for boarded patients.
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs for RNs/LPNs; solid color scrubs with no embroidery or patterns; solid fleece zip-ups in grey, black, navy, or royal blue; white, grey, or black undershirts; closed-toe shoes only.
• Orientation: First day general hospital orientation; full day of nursing orientation; computer training; two 12-hour shifts with a preceptor; abbreviated skills checklist due within 90 days.
