Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role involves working in the post-anesthesia recovery environment, providing critical patient care during the immediate postoperative period. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of placement.
Job Details:
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Shift: Various shifts with on-call responsibilities
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, and experience with Epic electronic medical record system
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or similar critical care environment
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: This assignment is a 13-week extension; candidates will be performing program conversion responsibilities
