Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Clinical Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a facility located in Palo Alto, California. This position involves providing care to neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patients recovering from surgery. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role entails working 12-hour rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The start date is scheduled for June 22, 2026.

- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications in BLS and PALS; prior pediatric PACU experience for at least 2 years; knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level experience; teaching hospital experience; EMR experience with Epic, Cerner, Allscripts.
- Additional Information: Patient Population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents with an average daily census of 45. Nurse to patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. The typical diagnosis ranges across all types of surgeries, at all levels of acuity and complexity within pediatric patients.
