Description
Job Summary:
A Gastroenterology Laboratory Technician position is available in Seattle, Washington. This role involves supporting procedures in a GI/Endoscopy unit, assisting with patient positioning, specimen collection, scope setup and breakdown, and restocking. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Schedule: 8 Hour Days, 10 a.m. 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of previous GI technician experience; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC); Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification via Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Rare floating may be required to Federal Way, Bellevue, or Lynnwood.
- Additional Information:
- 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) is four 10-hour shifts.
- Self-scheduling available for permanent team members.
- Schedule confirmed 6 weeks in advance, with some flexibility later.
- Orientation with an experienced GI technician until competency is proven.
