Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is needed in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care within the ICU setting, supervising licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Mckeesport, Pennsylvania
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification prior to first shift, valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification prior to first shift (if CIRH facility), minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, participate in patient rehabilitation programs, and initiate discharge planning and patient teaching. The role requires effective communication, delegation, supervision of ancillary staff, and continuous professional development.
