Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department located in La Junta, Colorado. • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current Colorado Registered Nurse license; Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably including at least six months of previous Emergency Department or acute care RN experience; Certifications including current Basic Life Support (BLS),Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency or acute care environment.
• Additional Information: Provides direct and indirect patient care, evaluates outcomes, collaborates with healthcare team, performs comprehensive assessments, monitors hemodynamic status, and assists in procedures. Demonstrates professional growth through participation in educational activities, maintains compliance with departmental policies, and ensures a safe, respectful environment for patients and families.
