Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse position in Billings, Montana. This role involves evaluating patients' health status through ongoing assessment, providing age-specific health teaching and counseling, and administering supportive therapy and treatment directly or indirectly. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting from 07/05/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Billings, Montana
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in Montana; at least 2 years PICU experience and 1 year general pediatric nursing experience; certifications including PALS, BLS (American Heart Association), and ENPC.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; certifications such as TNCC and ACLS are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves patient assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment administration, consultation, delegations, supervision, documentation, and resource utilization. Travel nursing experience is a plus; candidates may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
