Job Summary:
The operating room registered nurse (RN) specializing in open heart procedures is located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This position involves providing advanced perioperative care in a surgical setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida
- Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 0 years of experience; specialization in operating room open heart procedures; Florida residency or current licensure in Florida
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in open heart surgery or cardiac surgery, certification in perioperative nursing (e.g., CNOR), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
