Description
Job Summary:
The position available is for a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) located in San Francisco, California. The role involves assisting in orthopedic, neuro, spine, ENT, robotic, gynecology, general gynecology, and urology surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This is a full-time opportunity, with a shift schedule of evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Job Details:
- Shift: 5X8 evenings, 1500-2330, with weekends included in the schedule rotation. On-call responsibilities are required.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), BLS (American Heart Association) certification, high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of surgical experience with strong neuro, spine, and total joint procedure expertise.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of surgical experience. Prior experience with neuro, spine, orthopedics, and DaVinci robotic system is required. The role involves working in various specialty procedures including orthopedic, neuro, ENT, and robotic surgeries, utilizing advanced equipment such as DaVinci surgical systems and other surgical tools. Candidates should have a recent history free of background hits or DUIs. Valid state license and all certifications must be in hand at the time of submission. Vaccinations for COVID-19 and flu are required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
