Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse positions are available in Salem, Massachusetts. These roles involve providing care in a 65-bed emergency department with a diverse patient population. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts including day and evening shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) when requested, with a low rotation frequency. Night positions do not rotate.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse, at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are strongly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as NRP and TNCC are strongly preferred.

  • Skills: General emergency nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
  • Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4
  • Patient Population: All
  • Bed Count: 65
  • Census: 230 visits per day
  • EMR (Electronic Medical Record) System: EPIC ASAP
  • Floating: Yes, float rotation may be required.
