Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Berlin, Wisconsin. This position involves providing care for post-acute and long-term care patients, with a focus on wound care, following physician orders, and procedures such as PIV insertion and blood draws. Candidates are required to bring their licensed RN credential on the first day of assignment. The role involves 12-hour daytime shifts for a contract duration of 12 weeks, with a start date of July 13, 2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Berlin, WI
• Schedule: 12-hour days, 36 hours guaranteed per week, for 5 weeks plus 7 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, Associates Degree or Certification, 2 years of recent long-term care or post-acute experience, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ability to float to Peabody Manor (40 miles), and proficiency in charting with Epic preferred and Pyxis highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience and additional EMR expertise.
• Additional Information:
  • Orientation includes 1 day of onboarding and 4 days with a preceptor.
  • Must complete shifts within 2 weeks of any absence.
  • Ability to float to additional units as needed.
  • No on-call or callback responsibilities.
  • Scrubs can be any color.
  • Holiday and weekend rotations are required.
  • The position involves working within a 20-bed long-term and 17-bed rehab unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:17-20.
