Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights in Lynchburg, VA. The role involves providing emergency care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, 48 hours per week (assignments end on Saturday and require working every other weekend)
Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED; Trauma level 2 or 1 experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification; Trauma certification (ATCN/TNCC/ATLC); Active Virginia (VA) / compact license required at time of submission; Prior travel experience required for this position; Trauma level experience: Level 1
Preferred Qualifications: Prior Cerner experience (strongly preferred)
Additional Information: Start dates are limited to 07/13/2026 and 07/27 (orientation occurs every other Monday only). All required time off must be included in the submission packet. Emergency Room staffing is subject to cancellation up to 36 hours per assignment due to census. Approved COVID/flu declinations are accepted.
