Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT) Austell, GA. The organization is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgical operations in an operating room environment during evening hours. Responsibilities include preparing for procedures, supporting the surgical team, and maintaining readiness to respond in stressful or emergency situations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shift; Mon-Fri from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM (with call). Minimum of 36 hours per week; shift length listed as 12 hours. Start date: 06/29/2026.
• Required Qualifications: National certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) (including options: Basic Life Support (BLS), Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS), or Basic Life Support - Instructor (BLS-I)); Cert Surgical Tech (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C(NCCT)) or Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) or Certified Surgical Asst (CSA); ability to read, write, and speak English; strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals in provision of patient care; ability to delegate to other team members as required; multi-tasking and ability to function in stressful and emergency situations; strong attention to detail; knowledge of surgical procedures; basic computer skills; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to handle multiple priorities, self-direct, and apply independent judgment; ability to think critically and adapt quickly to changing situations; basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
