Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Cardiac care is sought for a position in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves providing patient care on a Cardiology/Med surg unit within a busy healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Birmingham, Alabama
- Shift: 3x12 shifts, Days, from 06:45 to 19:15
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; 2+ years of experience in Med surg and Cardiology; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIHSS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care skills and Med surg and Cardiology units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Position supports care for patients undergoing pre and post-heart catheterization, general cardiology, and Med surg cases, including conditions such as chest pain and hypertension.
