Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care is being sought for a position in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The role involves providing direct patient care in a specialized unit, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and recovery of surgical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin
Shift: Nights
Shift Hours: 12 hours
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 07/05/2026
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience; experience with telemetry monitoring and recovery of surgical patients; travel experience preferred; proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system; ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a telemetry or step-down unit.
Schedule: Shift time is every 3rd weekend with EOH (End of Shift) rotation with staff.
Additional Information: The role requires experience in recovering surgical patients and telemetry monitoring, with responsibilities involving patient assessment and stabilization according to facility protocols.
