Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is needed in Farmington, Connecticut. The position involves working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role supports high-acuity patient care in a specialized unit, with an emphasis on strong IMCU experience.
Job Details:
- Location: Farmington, Connecticut
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations as needed. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2 years of experience, Epic Experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Prior travel experience is preferred. Only candidates with strong Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) experience will be considered.
- Additional Information: Mandatory Emergency Staffing requirements include mandatory overtime, where the RN will be part of the rotation pool for additional hours to ensure coverage. The facility may float or reassign the RN to different departments, units, or facilities within 30 miles, within the RNs clinical competence.
