Job Summary:
The registered nurse position is located in Centennial, Colorado, specializing in Step Down Unit care. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on managing patients across various acuity levels. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. The position involves working day shifts, with potential for weekend shifts and holiday rotation responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with 6-9 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Colorado, 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system, and experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin. May be asked to participate in Holiday Rotation.
• Floats: May be asked to float into any other acuity level, including ICU (taking low acuity holds with appropriate skillset), PCU/Stepdown, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry.
• Unit Note: The assignment includes a float assignment where the nurse will work across multiple units, with an orientation lasting 1-2 days with a preceptor.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS.
• Start Date: 07/06/2026.
• Location: Centennial, Colorado.
