Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is located in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care, particularly in post-operative settings. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position primarily focuses on preoperative and postoperative assessments, providing patient-centered care for individuals recovering from procedures in the Interventional Radiology department.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
• Required Qualifications: ASN or BSN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS from the American Heart Association, PALS certification, and tele certification with at least 2 recent years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: More than 3 years of PACU experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include admission assessment, IV placement, and procedure recovery, with a focus on Interventional Radiology pre-op and post-op care. Candidates should have a strong background in telemetry and pre-op/PACU experience is highly preferred. The position starts on 07/06/2026, requiring at least 40 hours per week and no minimum experience requirement beyond the qualifications listed.
